Fatigue
When
you are pregnant, changes in hormonal levels make you tired and fatigued. The
body would need to require extra supply of blood in the form of essential
nutrients to a fetus; it does take a toll on blood sugar and blood pressure
making you tired.
Frequent
urination
Since
the body goes on to produce HCG in abundant quantities there is an urge to
urinate often. If an increase in blood pressure is witnessed it puts pressure
on the kidneys. Since the uterus is growing it puts pressure on the abdomen
which increases an urge to pee very often.
Constipation
During
pregnancy it is expected that a surge in hormone levels would slow down process
of digestion. One of the reasons for constipation could be an improper diet.
Vaginal
discharge
Due
to higher estrogen levels you are going to witness pep up in your vaginal
discharge. This could also occur due to dilation of vaginal walls along with
the cervix. The mucus would prevent any infections in passing from the vagina
to the uterus. Do stay away from douching to prevent any infections from
spreading.
Leg
cramps
You
will witness heavy leg cramps and pain increases considerably during night
time. The main reason why cramps occur during pregnancy would be lack of supply
of iron or potassium. Gentle exercises on your legs or ankles would help you to
avoid cramps.
Mood
swings
It
is common that you are likely to experience hormonal changes during pregnancy.
This would contribute to occasional mood swings. For some women it might be an
emotional affair whereas in case of others it could be calm behaviour.
Abdominal
pain and back acne
If
change in hormonal levels are witnessed it may contribute to back pain. The
uterus is at a growing phase which puts considerable stress on the abdomen or
ligaments which make you feel a lot of pain in the lower abdomen. With a baby growth video week by week you can
have a fair idea on what to expect.
Stretching or low impact exercises would be of definite help at this
point of time. Do discuss with your doctor before you are starting off with any
exercises when you are pregnant.
Bleeding
gums
Changes
in your hormonal levels can lead to bleeding of gums along with inflammation.
Proper oral hygiene is a definite must when you are pregnant. Therefore you
need to be part of regular dental check-up.
Heartburn
The
upsurge in hormonal levels makes movement of food along digestive tract a
difficult job.
